Trey serves as the Dean of the School of Professional
Studies and coordinates the online Bachelor of Criminal Justice
program. In addition, he serves as Director of the Reinhardt
University Public Safety Institute / Police Academy. He has
worked in a variety of law enforcement capacities and has held
various higher education leadership positions over the course
of his career. His interest in criminal justice was kindled as
a result of working alongside law enforcement officers as a
broadcast journalist and news director. He began his law
enforcement career in 1994 as an officer with the Glynn County
Police Department. Trey’s field experience includes patrol,
narcotics investigations, juvenile probation/intake, and campus
public safety. He has been a Georgia P.O.S.T. certified
instructor since 2000 and accepted his first full-time
collegiate criminal justice faculty appointment in 2004. Trey
is a professional member of the Georgia Association of Chiefs
of Police and served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve from
1991-1999. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice
from Armstrong State University and a Master of Education in
Criminal Justice from Troy University.

Diane Petty has over 25 years of experience in higher education with a background that ranges from marketing and admissions to the business office and the classroom. She has successfully worked to develop online programs and brings real-life work experience in both retail and hotel management to the BBA program. Ms. Petty also works with local business on leadership and team-building development and often facilitates workshops with a leadership focus.
Diane’s journey at Reinhardt began as a dual-enrolled high school student. She graduated from Reinhardt with an AS in Criminal Justice and, later, a BS in Business Administration. She went on to earn her MBA with Troy University. Now, returning to her roots, Ms. Petty is the Coordinator of the Reinhardt University online Bachelor of Business Administration program and Assistant Professor of Business with the McCamish School of Business.

Carrie graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She has been working with higher education since 2012 and is passionate about helping students succeed. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys traveling with her friends and family, and spending time with her dog Emme.
